Leeds Shotokan Karate Club are always on the look out for new members and will welcome all new members starting from the age of 9 and upwards.
We aim to cater for all abilities, from new beginners to black belt. If you are looking to keep fit, develop your karate skills or a family activity for you and your children, please come down to one of our training sessions listed below.
Club Training Times:
Tuesday: 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm at the 17th South West Leeds Scout Headquarters
Wednesday: 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm at the 17th South West Leeds Scout Headquarters
All classes are open to all abilities from age 9 and upwards.
Leeds Shotokan Karate Club is open throughout the year (including the summer/school holidays) and will be closed for two weeks at Christmas.

Training Costs:
£5.00 per session to members.

Monthly Training Costs:
Should you wish to pay a monthly standing order for training this will cost:
Black belts/Dan Grade - £28.00 and will give an annual/yearly saving of £174.00
Adult Kyu Grade - £30.00 and will give an annual/yearly saving of £150.00.
Junior Kyu Grade - £28.00 and will give an annual/yearly saving of £174.00.

Members Notices
JKA England Licences/Insurances Information
All members training at the club MUST have an up-to-date JKA England license. The JKA England license gives members access to JKA England facilities and provides appropriate insurance coverage. The JKA England insurers provide cover to new JKA England club members to train at a JKA England club for up to 8 sessions (4 weeks) in order to allow them time to apply for and receive a license. New members can apply for their first JKA England license by clicking on the link below. Please complete this form and return it to the JKA England Licensing Officer. All cheques should be made payable to JKA England. Existing JKA England members may also renew their licenses using the same form or link:
